Last week wasn’t bad as far as weather goes. It was cold, but not brutal and we didn’t get a whole lot in the way of snow. That allowed me to get my mileage back up to 60, which felt good. I got in a decent tempo on Thursday. Nothing spectacular, but it felt great to get some sub 6 minute miles in for the first time in a while. Plus, I had a really fun solo run on Friday, that was completely on isolated, woody trails parts of which were so shady that they were still completely covered in snow. Assuming the weather cooperates, I’d like to hit 65 or maybe even 70 next week. This hasn’t been the greatest winter for running, but I should come out of it just fine.
