In light of the most recent flaring up of my groin injury, I elected to take a full two weeks off in order to rest it up. At the end of the two weeks, it didn’t quite feel 100%, but I had grown too restless from doing nothing for two weeks. Nonetheless, I only ran four days last week and the overall mileage came out to 25 miles, which wasn’t bad for my first week back. Pending injuries, I already have my entire summer’s mileage planned out. I’ve made a plan and I want to stick to it. I want to be even more dedicated than I have been. I hope to drop several minutes off my marathon time. But the journey starts now. I just have to commit.
